TRACES on Caladan Gallery

I am showing 15 pieces of my work from the TRACES Series on Caladan Gallery. This exhibition is on-line from September 15 – October 31, 2009. Majorie Kaye, director of Caladan Gallery wrote in the press release about my work:
"The interior of our conscious experience is filled with layer upon layer of memory. In these works by Sand T, these memories have made their way to the surface; there is an added dimension created by the fact that the path that these memories took to get to this surface has been left partially opened, a gateway to the unconscious mind of the artist, as well as to the observer. In this way, the artist's memories are forever intermingled with our own, calling upon a collective experience. An extensive range of emotion rises to the top, identifiable to us. From a sense of irony, to sadness, joy, love and reverence, we are left with a chronicle of our own lives. The artist has given us a gift, the gift of her experience, both private and un-self-conscious."
