Sand T, Returning to childhood places, mixed media on acrylic glass panel, 11"H x 11"W x 2"D.

JOIN US March 26, 2009 from 6 - 9PM at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for an art reception entitled "Home is Where the Art Is". Light refreshments and a cash bar will be provided, complimentary parking in the North Visitor’s Lot.

"Over 100 works of art created by 65 local artists are installed in the Northwest Lobby of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center at 415 Summer Street in South Boston. The reception is a chance to meet artists and others who contributed to this project. In partnership with the Urban Arts Institute at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a call-for-art went out to the local community in December 2008 and Sixty-five artists were invited to participate. Artists were asked to reflect on what makes them feel at home and over 100 original artworks were created in support of The House on Kent Street!"

This exhibition is on display at the BCEC's Northwest Lobby thru March 30. If you would like to visit the exhibit any other time, contact Susan Merritt at: 617-954-3787 or artprogram@massconvention.com. Complimentary parking can be provided. For directions and general information, visit website. We are looking forward to celebrating with you!
