REVISITING
"I often dream about my childhood places. I have heard that the recurrence of childhood places in your dreams reveal that you yearn to re-live those innocent times. With this thought in mind, and with wonderful memories of my childhood spent in Malacca, Malaysia, I created these compact visual models of my dreamscapes. Though I could not possibly illustrate real life experience or dreams in one body of work, I operate under the old saying: “Dream reveals reality, reality reflects dream”.
